Having purchased Diablo 2 and Lord of Destruction CD Keys from Winds-D2.com back in 2007 and them assuring that "Guarantees that cd-keys is 100% authentic and has NEVER BEEN USED. The cd-keys works on ALL CLOSED REALMS on Battle.net"
http://winds-d2.com/plist/434-Diablo2Cdkey/1.html
Having access to the Disks (I play together with my brother) already and just requiring CD keys this is an acceptable solution. Blizzard now allow downloads from CD keys on their site.
I logged to Diablo 2 on the weekend to find this:

WHAT THE HELL?!? I have NEVER shared MY keys. I have NEVER installed it on another computer. And I am not "DD" trying to connect multiple times.
Which leads to the only conclusion, since I have had no problems up until now, the person has resold the same keys.
I immediately tried to contact Winds-d2.com politely to be issued with a new set of keys. Firstly via email which appears to be ignored then via their
Live online chat which was also ignored.
Seriously, new keys to the value of $6 is not much to ask to have this resolved. Unless of course they are in the business of selling key multiple times.
Let me summarize why everyone who I can tell should not deal with
Winds-d2.com:
- Dodgey business practices and false claims
- No customer service
- Chose to just ignore rather than give a new set clean keys to the value of $6
- As a customer you are handing over money online to someone anonymous, is it really worth the risk dealing with dodgey winds-d2.com
Now if someone from Blizzard happens to stumble across this, I wonder what the legalities of selling one copy (license/cd key) of a piece of software multiple times is.
Heres some nice terms for search engines to associate with winds-d2.com: I got scammed by winds-d2.com, winds-d2.com sucks, I hate winds-d2.com, do not buy from winds-d2.com, winds-d2.com is a scam, winds-d2.com review 0/10.
